Fine art, fashion, food…
it’s all in a day’s work.
And Christina Ha loves every minute of it.
New York’s most-talked about exhibits? She’s there every week delivering the latest arts and culture news as a reporter for the Emmy-nominated “NYC Arts” on PBS.
The world’s top runways? You may have seen her reporting from them and interviewing the influential designers behind them as one of the hosts of the long-running, award-winning “Full Frontal Fashion” on UltraHD/VoomHD.
The buzzworthy foodie scene? Christina’s coverage of the hottest restaurants and culinary trends as a reporter for MetroChannel, earned her a prestigious James Beard Award nomination, for best local TV food reporting.
Along the way, Christina has worked the red carpet as an entertainment reporter for E! and MTV Asia. Her first on-air job was as a community affairs reporter on WNYE-TV, followed by one of her favorite gigs as the home & lifestyle reporter at New York 1.
Some say Christina’s appreciation for global arts and culture can be traced to her maternal grandfather – South Korea’s first Ambassador to Great Britain and Turkey.
Her broadcasting career started at the campus radio station at the University of Maryland where she studied journalism. In addition to her community volunteer work, Christina serves on the board of the Hudson River Museum and was a past board member of RiverArts. This native New Yorker spends her free time with her husband, WABC-TV reporter Marcus Solis, their two kids and one cute and crazy pup.
